[Pauldotcom] Honeywall & Smoothwall setup question

Hello All:

I currently run smoothwall for some of my small size networks but I am aware of some of its short comings like not being able to have over X number of IP on the block list and so forth.

With that said I started looking into HoneyWall and wanted to have the two work size by side however I am a bit puzzled about as to how the should be deployed.

Or if I should use something else Opensource ideally.
